I woke up this morning to take my dog to do his business and then as I was walking around my truck I noticed that their were egg shells thrown on the grown and then I look on my truck and I saw the yolk just running down, still wet since its drizziling outside. My first thought was maybe a bird was flying by and dropped its egg but then I continued to walk around my truck and I noticed even more egg shells on the ground and as I got to the back their I saw egg splattered all of the back of my truck. I got so angry and pissed cause I new who had done this but I didn't see them. I called the cops and they didn't do $hit they just told me that they were going to have more cops patroling this neighborhood. As I was wiping the egg off my truck I noticed that some of the paint came off that made me even more mad cause I just felt that those Ba$tards were looking through thier window and laughing at me. The police officer told me that if that happened for me to call my insurance and that it

Sorry about your truck. Eggs, unfortunately will do that to paint. The cop is right, if there are no witnesses, there isn't much they can do about it. Claim the damage against your insurance policy.

As mad as you are, confronting those who you think did it., isn't going to solve anything and may create more problems. Beating on them is only going to put you in jail.

A neighborhood near here has had over 60 car windows bashed out over 3 nights. No-one saw or heard anything. Two years ago, someone was randomly shooting out car windows with a BB gun - never was caught and whoever was doing that eventually got bored with it all, or moved somewhere else.

It's all pretty senseless, but unless someone sees it happening and can identify the person doing it, there really isn't much to be done.

This has happened to not only my son's car, but also to our house. I believe it was because of my son's sexual orientation, which would make our situation a hate crime. My husband's windshield was also smashed a few months ago and I suspect the same people did it. Of course the police never do anything. We even have a sheriff's deputy live on our street and the jerks still did this to us. I'd suggest investing in some security cameras that work well at night. We bought one, but it wasn't good reception at night, so we returned it. Organize a neighborhood watch and write a note give it to all your neighbors about what happened and ask them to watch out for any suspicious activity. If these people are in your neighborhood and know others are watching out, then they'll probably stop what they're doing.

I know it really isn't cool when something like this happens. We had a guy in our neighborhood get oil poured on his car - which ruined his paint job. He installed an outdoor camera and directed it at his vehicle.

Call your insurance and have it fixed, Girl your man is coming home! Let the anger go and concentrate on the good stuff!

I've never had my vehicle egged before, but I have friends who's vehicles have been, and you have good reason to be upset. But as far as for the police to charge anyone, you have to have proof of the act, so they can see who did it.

I'm sorry that this happened to you. It's really sad that these stupid kids have to be so imature that they need to resort to vandalism to have fun. It's really sad.

I've been a victim of vandalism in the past. When my wife and I were dating, I went to visit her at work, she worked in fast food in the mall at the time, and while I was in the mall, someone opened the hood of my truck I had at the time and yanked all the spark plug wires out, ripping them from the plugs and the distributer. And I was VERY pissed too. A few days later someone keyed F*** You across the hood of his brand new mini-van.

You filed a police report so now see what your insurance company says. Your comprehensive insurance should cover repairs (less any deductible).

The proteins and stuff in eggs can play havoc on automobile paint.

I'm sorry this happened to you.

I'm sorry for your troubles, but honestly, what do you expect the police to do? Take your word for who did it and arrest them? That's not how our justice system works.

Don't take revenge. It will just escalate and you might be the one the cops come for in the end.

Try setting a trap to nail the culprit. You need proof to book them for vandalizing your truck.

It has happened to me...and the cops didn't do jack because they didn't "catch them in the act".

I guess you're going to have to set up a surveillance camera to bust their asses.
