They will always be faithful to you. A spouse wont. Go with the dog, and your heart will never be broken.

Hmm I'll say this . I love love my dog. I think of her as one of my children. She does give unconditional love and I know in my heart that she (just by being near), is supportive when needed. When any one of us is not feeling well, she comes and sits next to us and puts her head on our leg or just up against us. I don't think of her as better just truly a blessing. I would not compare a spouse to our dog or any dog because just so different. doesn't really apply.

If that's a companion you have a solid friendship with, good communique so which you would be able to communicate approximately something, hardship-loose pastimes, and shared objectives for the destiny & a dedication to not take the guy with no attention & paintings via issues, then the human who could comprehend, look after & assist you in a fashion a distinction species not at all ought to, could be greater effective. besides the undeniable fact that if it replaced into somebody a guy or woman settled for to have anybody or an undesirable relationship, then no, the dogs could be greater effective. A companion is barely properly worth having as part of your existence, it could be greater effective with them in it than without.

We have two dogs. One is a Shepard and all she cares about is playing with her ball and someone throwing it for her. The other is a huge Mastiff and all he wants really is to have his back scratched and to rub his slobber on peoples clothes. My honey on the other hand, came home tonight with flowers, a smile and a hug. He didn't want me to throw a ball or scratch his back (yet), he ate dinner with me and didn't wipe his face on me. He is going to sleep in our bed with me tonight and we will say our prayers together and after that we will make love or just go to sleep hugging. Meanwhile the dogs will be on their beds on the floor, the big dog will snore and the other one will pant and lick body parts until I tell them to knock it off. I would rather have my husband. I do love our dogs...but - no comparison here.

In some ways maybe.
They only live 1/7 as long, then you can get a new young one
They eat cheap food
They can't use credit cards or write a check
But on the other hand they can't cook and the sex would be really bad, unless you're that kinky.

Thankfully, my spouse does not drool half has much as my dog. He also doesn't have the pesky leg-humping habit...

mmm. sometimes. A dog whom you care for and love will be glad to be near you just because you are you. He will never judge you or leave you should you lose your job, or become very ill. He will stand by you in good times or bad.

No because dogs can't wash dishes after I cook like my husband does. Plus, I enjoy sex, so that would be an issue.
