What do you first learn in school for paralegal?
i am wondering what the first things you learn in your first semester of school for paralegal


I am going to court soon and i have a lawyer but my kids dad does have the money to afford a lawyer. he made a fool of him self the last time we went to court and he is representing him self. I have know he started the local community college this september but did nt know what for. turns out its for paralegal. I dont think its to better himself like he says he is a dead beat and is 32 years old and sit at home for last 3 years making his wife work two jobs.

i think he is trying ot learnsomething about legal stuff to help him win.

im not worried about him winning since i have proofe he is a unfit father and he knows it.

Given the title of your question, I was thinking that you had mis-categorized it - but reading the details, I see why you put it here.



Look, no offense, but I don't think that you are asking the right question. He does not sound like the sharpest knife in the drawer, and I doubt that he is learning much of anything other than how to do legal research. But a paralegal is not an attorney, and knows nothing about the rules of procedure. Since he is not an attorney, and is representing himself, he has an idiot for a client.

Composition and ethics are critical courses for anyone going into a legal profession. (insert attorney ethics joke if desired). Better to say that your sister did not learn specific paralegal information during her first year.
