What do you think of gold diggers?

Now I know most of the gold digging population are overwhelmingly women. I've heard stories of successful men's lives get ruined because of these women. It's a woman thing.

Do you think gold diggers give people, or women, a bad name? Would you single women ever do this?

Gold diggers are pretty easy to spot, all you have to do show proof of wealth (but not give them any), they won't stick around long if you don't fork over any perks, but they'll stick around long enough to bang them a couple times and be done with them.

I think that most highly successful men are fully able to spot gold diggers and avoid them like the plague. The few that do get wrapped up with one probably realize it and hope they'll be able to change them. I think that most of these relationships, at least for awhile, are mutually beneficial. She gets the material things she's looking for and he gets the arm candy that he's looking for.



I think the term gold digger is applied too liberally most of the time these days. I can't imagine that a true gold digger would consider some IT dude earning $75-$100K a year to be a prize catch. Oh, no, they're going for the big catch. Unless they earn 2M or more they're not worth a real gold digger's time. But, people love to brand women who become involved with the IT dude as gold diggers. Sure, the certifiable gold diggers are pretty much scum. Do I think they give people or women a bad name? No, not at all. Anyone who truly understands what qualifies as a gold digger understands that most who are accused of it really aren't. Anyone with an ounce of sense realizes that there really aren't that many of them and that they aren't representative of women or society as a whole.

gold digger tend to be very attractive

so by that logic they are trying to leverage their looks for cash

they know they have a very short time window to snag someone as their

looks will not last, and chances are the guy in question hunts trophy wives, so he pumps then dumps every 8 years of so, and if he is even smarter, he have all the pre nups lined up ( ala Donald Trump )



the fool guys are the ones who never had a good looking Gf in life

somehow made it big in life and then "managed" to score some hottie, all the while he is being set up, and because they fear being alone, they will not let go and let the money flow



so i do not hate GD , i merely think it's a supply and demand issue, i merely pity the idiot guy who has no self esteem and thus is ripe for the pickings and have no feelings for him when he does get taken, if anything i cheer on the GD, it's capitalism at its finest

It works for them! Men know what they are getting into and they choose to move forward. personal choices have repercussions and until a man meets his repercussion, he will continue to hook up with a gold digger..

I know guys who are gold diggers too.However if people would use some common sense, they wouldn't get used and taken advantage of.

I think that all people who marry or use someone specifically for their money are sickening. I would never do this to anybody but then again I would prefer more simple things in life, money truly does not buy happiness.
