Why is it that I have worn my wedding ring for 8 years nd my husband does not. When he does wear it he takes it off to eat, shower, sleep and clean... Should I be worried because he doesn't wear it at all now!

what kind of job does your husband have? here in Canada if a man is wearing a ring and something happens they will not insure him. My husband hasn't wore his ring 13 years (married 13 years) together 21
I am sure he isn't cheating and a ring wouldn't matter anyway if he was or wasn't wearing it because most women who will sleep with a married man is a whore and she doesn't give a ****
I wouldn't worry about it I doubt he is cheating. Maybe it is uncomfortable i don't wear mine to often either.

I'd probably be a little surprised by it...and wondered why we'd bothered spending all the money on the ring in the first place. The tradition of men wearing a wedding ring does not go back nearly as far as the tradition of a woman wearing a ring and there are men who still don't, particularly those in professions in which jewellery cannot be worn at work. The fact that he doesn't wear his ring doesn't necessarily scream "I'm a sexy single guy on the prowl", especially now that so many people have common-law partners. But, even if he does attract women, you should be able to trust him to set people straight about his marital status. If you find you can't trust him on this than the issue really doesn't have much to do with the ring itself. Now I completely understand the significance of a visual symbol of your love (my husband does wear a ring) but if it's really about the ring being uncomfortable, the two of you could discuss buying some other item for him to wear as a symbol, like a watch or some other ornamentation.

My husband hates jewelry, but we both agreed to always wear our rings, we both have different designs and materials (mine is made out of meteorite, his of tungsten carbide).. we did this so he could choose his ring, the way he wanted it, in the end he was going to be wearing it forever so it was important for him to make the choice.
Before our wedding, he never wore any rings or jewelry, now he will never let it go, is very special for him and he wears it with pride, is comfortable and stylish. Ask him why he doesn't like to wear it? Most ppl aren't connected to the ring because their spouse picked it, make sure that it was HIS choice.

It may simply not be comfortable. My husband finds his ring uncomfortable and is planning on tattooing a ring on instead.
Does it bother you because you think there is more to it than his comfort? Are there other signs? If not I would assume it's the ring or any ring. Ask him.

the biggest cheater i know wears his wedding ring always and goes to church every week and mows the churches lawn.
a ring does not make a marriage or make someone faith full.
most men in blue collar jobs do not wear rings.
don't read too much into not wearing a ring

I've never owned a wedding ring because I don't like wearing jewelry. You could ask him why he doesn't wear his wedding ring. The presence of a wedding ring isn't protection against any inappropriate behavior, good communication is.
An no, he shouldn't have to wear a wedding ring to make you happy.

If you trust him and do not have any doubts it should not matter. My husband has never worn his ring but he is clear that he is married but just does not like to wear jewelery.

if it just when he is at home i guess thats ok, but you are right to wonder if there is more to it. I have been married 3 times they all wore there rings. Even better go to his job surprise him look at his finger!!!!!!! hope this helps

Mine never wears his - 15 years now. No cheating that I am aware of. But he never wears any jewelry anyways.
Mine came off a few months ago...don't plan on putting them back on.
