Feminists position on IPV is that all hetrosexual men are bastards, rapists and paedophiles who use power and control to dominate over their wifes/partners and sexually and physically abuse their own children.
That women and children are in a sense suberviants of males
If we are to believe Feminists than..How do we explain IPV in Homsexual relationships? And how do we explain mothers abusing their children at higher rates then biological fathers?
Are we being fed a lot of rubbish by feminists?

Its pretty much rubbish, and they don't need it.. Anyone is capable of violence, and while men are still the main perps by a small percentage, its closing in on 50/50 very quickly. My own fiancee slapped me a couple of times once (I;ve never hit her and will not). From that first instance- I walked away and did not call her. She called me a few hours later and she got the message- goes to Dr Phil's concept of teaching people how to treat you. I think if women had the support, they could do this as well in any situation.

The key though is that most agencies numbers show that IPV rate as HIGHER than the violence rates for hetero couples. Remember too, that even the nest relationship has a small anount of abuse, anger and conflict. It's how you handle it that makes the diff.

no, but statistically, men are the main perpertrators of violence in relationships.

then again, as you just stated, mothers can abuse their children just as much!!

it's not rubbish about the amount of violence occuring in any home, but if feminists said that women were also at fault, it would become significantly more difficult to recieve funding for such institutions/organisations as legal aid for women or resource help centres.

uhh lol im not sure if i answered the question! :) but basically what i mean to say is that it goes both ways, but because women are more effected and stereotypically incapable of protecting themselves, we see that side of the propaganda more often.

What’s your definition of a feminist? I think this definition is an accurate one: “belief in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes” and that would make me a feminist (although I’ve never called myself that). And yet, I don’t believe any of the BS you just spouted.

I certainly don’t view all heterosexual men as bastards, rapists, etc. In fact, I happen to be married to a heterosexual man and I think he’s pretty damn wonderful.

And for the record, not all feminist are lesbians, and not all lesbians are feminist.

They deny it exists because it does not fit in with their agenda or propaganda.
