Question:
Husbands would you like this? (not a sexual question)?

Autumn and winter are fast approaching. Our apartment has a wall mounted furnace, and to conserve energy, we close our bedroom door at night. That means it gets COLD at night. We have lots of blankets, but they only do so much. My stubborn husband doesn't wear pajama pants to bed, he only sleeps in boxers. When its getting into the low 50s in our room at night, and it's below freezing outside, I wear polar fleece pajama a pant and sweatshirts. I stay pretty toasty, but he complains about being cold,

I was thinking as I work on sewing myself some new pj pants, that it wouldn't be hard at all for me to make him a few pairs of drawstring boxers out of polar fleece for cold nights instead of regular cotton ones. Guys: is this something you would wear/enjoy? Obviously I would use masculine solid colors and not girly patterns like I do on mine. Is it worth the time so when October rolls around I can surprise him?

Nope!!!

You and he have different anatomical parts...I assume that you have noticed this. His little fellas would be a little too toasty with polar fleece. They would drive a guy like him absolutely crazy. I am in your husband's camp on this one. PJ's are very uncomfortable for a lot of guys...he is not alone in this. I would also guess that he is a restless sleeper,. The last thing he needs is "schweddy balls" (hilarious routine by Alec Baldwin on SNL).

Go for it. Temperatures in the low 50's when it's below freezing outside is hardly toasty. So, why your husband refuses to dress warmly for bed is beyond me. He probably doesn't like anything around his legs when he sleeps.

Also, try getting him some upper body warm and toasty pajama tops. If his upper body is warm, that warm blood will circulate throughout his body and keep his lower body warmer as well. Good luck.

Make one pair and have him try it out? Every guy is different about what he's comfortable with - my husband would go nuts if he had to wear anything that was made of polar fleece. (I, however, is nearly always wrapped up in something.)

just cuddle.... he does not like pajamas- and might not wear them, so don't let that hurt your feelings
