Im a kshatriya, can i marry a iyengar girl. Im a veg. Do any rules say marriage should not be performed between a kshatriya boy and Srivaishnava girl.

According to Hindu Marriage Act,1955 any Hindu can marry another Hindu irrespective of cast or creed or region hence there is nothing wrong if you marry in different caste.Such marriage is absolutely legal in the eye of countrys law.

If you are dependent on your parents and it is an extended family it is a serious problem as they will not agree, If you are financially independent and run your house independently it is not an issue. You can marry if she is a major.Otherwise you can expect police knocking your door.
