My ex-husband and I are going to F.O.C. next week... He owes me ten thousand dollars!!!

Anyhoo, I posted a question regarding what should I do with the man that doesn't want to pay for his kids but wants to hook up with a ho that got pregnant on one of their frequent breaks (HE'S FIXED!!! NOT HIS!!!) and play baby's daddy. But anyhoo, if you want to see it and comment, please look at my profile and please do!

Moms and Dads out there, how devastating is it to the kids if you stand your ground and throw the ex in jail for not supporting the kids??

Do they hate you??

They shouldnt know what is going on PERIOD when it comes to child support. However, do you think your littel girls will learn how to stand up for themselves if you dont stand up for them and yourself? They will get over it and when they have kids they will appreciate you SO much more for fighting to take care of them. Be strong! You are only thining about bending cause you feel sorry for his sadass! Do your thing girl!

sounds like you are jealous of the ho. listen if you want to throw him in jail thats your problem i would not do it. no offence i think as a black woman we are a bit reluctant to put a man in jail for SUPPORT maybe thats why the end up on assistance. but if he is in jail will you be getting the money? make him pay less until he can afford more. if he is a dead beat then it's what you signed on for you chose him. as mothers or even some single fathers we have to do what we have to do to support our kids so get a second job or go to school until you climb the ladder of success don't wait on support from a man who refuse to pay it or can't afford it. pt him to work to babysit or something. right now you sound upset because he with someone else so do what you have to do your kids will find out when they get older. like i said you chose him.

Actually I doubt he will go to jail for non support of his children. Most states simply garnish the man's wages and take out what is owed from any income tax returns these days. If he doesn't have a job then they take it out of any accounts that are open in his name under his social security number.

take him to court and get what he owes you.men think they can just walk away when it suits (well most men).the children know what is right and wrong-whatever you do dont put him down to your children(because it just makes you look bad).be grateful he wants visitation,its whats best for your children.if he wants to be responsible for another womans child thats his choice and you cant change that,so just fight for your rights and the rights of your children-i did and i won.

you got to do what's best for the kids this might teach him a lesson or two. lots of men are very selfish when it comes down on them to handle their business.
