Are swinger parties real? Do married couples out there really participate in being "swinging"?

Just curious...maybe someone out there knows first hand and could provide a response. I live in the NYC area...I hear about this...but don't believe it's actually legit.

Yes they are real. There are swingers clubs all over the world.

I myself am not a swinger but they do exist as do their parties.

Real Swinger Party

Yes its real and more common than you think. I would guess that you know several couples who do this and you just don't know it yet.

We did it for 5 years. It was the best sex I ever had.

Some of the most decent people swing. Aside from having a wild side in bed, they are just people.

It's really like being in college again. Imagine you are out with a few friends and none of you have had sex in a while so you are hoping to find a great person that you have a spark with. The dynamic is very similar except the friend you are out with is your spouse.

If you have self esteem issues, you are in trouble if you try to swing. Also, people are very choosy so you had better be fairly decent looking.

The biggest problem is when one person in the couple is confronted with the fact that they are very much less attractive then their spouse. It's easy to pretend you are a good match until you have people begging for you and not your wife... or vise versa.

If you are both confident, emotionally stable and like really wild sex... it's a lot of crazy fun! Dangerous as well, but fun.

One more thing. With the couples we met, one of the couple was deplorably bad in bed. The man was usually small and could only last 6-10 minutes or the woman was all frigid.

Usually it was the man who was bad in bed but the woman 'loved' him so she didn't want to full out cheat. It worked great for me. I had a lifetime of sex in those 5 years. Having 3 women at once is really everything a guy would hope for... and then some.

They are really and even though I am 'dreaded' single male I have played with some couples. Single males are shunned and are not allowed into some couples clubs or couples parties. The lifestyle is a kind of gray area. Because on one hand paying for sex is against the law and you get busted by the vice squad but hosting a couples party is different if you don't charge people for attending. I found out that some 'hosts' and 'hostess' would charge money for attending there party and after paying the fee you could 'play' with the hostess.

Yes, swingers parties are real, and married couples really do participate in swinging. But, they are not like the stuff you see on the internet on porn sites or movies. Those are staged events. The reality of most swingers parties are they are parties just like anyone else has, except that there is the possibility of hooking-up with another couple or single.

There are two general types of swingers parties: clubs and house. Club parties can be either on-premise or off-premise events. On-premise events are usually dedicated swingers clubs which are much like any night club except there are places (both public and private) for people to go and have sex without having to leave the club. Off-premise parties many times are held at regular night clubs that close to the public for that night. These are more like meet-and-greets since no sex happens at the club, but if you meet someone you hit it off with you can leave the club and go to one of your homes or a hotel.

House parties are just like any other party you'd go to at a friends, with food and drink, except there will be rooms and places in the house that are set aside for people to have sex in if they so feel like it.

In all situations, I will say from experience, there is usually more socializing and less sex at these functions than you'd think.

Yes! Especially in Southern Calif where the lifestyles club is one of the largest. It fun if you have a woman that is fun. they have trips together to Jamaica and other destinations usually in the tropics and are usually nudist also. NOT all nudist are swingers though. I lived in a nudest resort (Club Paradise in Florida) for a year and I wasn't a swinger but I knew many that were.

Oh it's real. People who know nothing can bash all they want...they just don't have very valid reasons for thinking the way they do. You can never know what it's like until you've been there and done that. I can oppose the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan all day long but I haven't been there and at the end of the day, I don't know sh*t from Shinola to speak on it.

Swingers are alive and well and having fun too. Sorry though...I am not in NY. You can do a short search for lifestyle websites and from there you should get invites to events. Good luck!

Not under the "alienation of affection" law- sounds like the friend is bringing plenty of "affection". But it depends on the endowments of the male swingers, you might could get in trouble under the "lemon law".

Yup, its real. Not for me, thank you, but whatever floats your boat I guess. I'm guessing the Catholic Bishops of America probly haven't given it their approval, but they're pissed off at the Kennedy's too. You wanna expose yourself to it, go for it. I'll pass.
