Last weekend I was at a cabin with a co-worker/friend, (we're pretty new friends), she invited some of us up. She said she wanted to go hiking in the woods but her husband said not to, that it was getting too late and we'd get lost. But she later came up to me and said we should go anyway, she didn't care what he said. Well, long story short, we got lost, it got dark, we got scared. They had to send a search party out for us. We were so embarrassed. Anyway, her husband was furious, another friend took me home right after. Well, a few days later at work I asked her how mad her husband was, she said, "Well, let's just say I couldn't sit down the next day." I was taken aback, I said you mean, he spanked you? She said "Yep, pretty good too. He busted my butt with my hairbrush for about 10 minutes, it hurt like heck. I definitely deserved it though, and I definitely learned my lesson." I didn't know what to do or say. I mean, I never heard of a man spanking his wife. Is this abuse? Should I say something? Or just leave it alone? She even told me that her husband said I deserved to be spanked too because I was at fault also, and that I'd better be glad I wasn't there that night, or I would have gotten my rear end blistered as well. Guess I'm glad I went home. lol. Anyway, what do you think? What should I do? Did he abuse her, or was he justified in spanking her?
